How great it is to work with such wonderful families? It’s pretty awesome, to gloat a bit. This is the second year I’ve done portraits for the Mahoney’s Holiday Cards. On their suggestion we went to Swinford Park in Plainfield. Besides being a little chilly it was a great session!

Portrait: Sam turns 2 years old
Sam turned two years old and a trip to the Indianapolis Museum of Art to pose in front of the giant numbers was in order.
Shauna and her boys
My sister had me do some updated portraits of her and my nephews. Here is the completed album. Please enjoy it.
Amber’s Headshot / Profile Picture session
Amber joins the list of valued Solar Flare Photography clients with our session on the last day of July. She was searching for some shots to update her Social Media profiles. We shot a bit over 50 and chopped back to 10. It was a lot of fun and I really appreciate Amber letting me take them.
Michael’s portrait session shared
A recent portrait client gave me the ok to share their gallery for potential customers to look at some of the work I have done. This was a great session we did in early May at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The little boy’s 3rd birthday was coming up and they liked my “6” pictures I did with Carson, so we spent some time at the number sculptures and from there wandered around the IMA grounds for a while. I’m so pleased to be able to show these off, thanks again to the family for allowing me!
Straight & Narrow, Inc Session Finalized
My newest client, Straight & Narrow, Inc., and I just finalized their gallery. They have been kind enough to allow me to share it with everyone to view. The client was looking for some shots that showed diversity in a young, hip way in an urban setting. We met up around 6pm on Tuesday of last week at the Stutz Business Center building in Downtown Indianapolis. It had been raining for most of the afternoon but let up about an hour before we met up. It was a great time and we got a lot of pictures in that came out really well.
Photo Session: Carson turns Six
Our previous scouting came to great use this past weekend when I took Carson and Sam back to IMA to do some portraits. I ended up using a few from the scouting shoot as they turned out really well. Both boys had a ton of fun.
